The Aiken County Public Library, 314 Chesterfield St. SW, will be offering the following virtual activities during the month of July:

• Popup Storytimes will be broadcast on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

• Play & Learn will provide easy, home-based activities to improve children’s early literacy skills on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

• Adulting 101 will offer life skills through short videos and photos on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. For 13-18 year olds.

• August 5, 12, 19 and 26: The Builder’s Club will meet. Links will be available on the library’s Facebook page. For 6-12 year olds.

• August 6 and 20: Cooking with Character participants can listen to stories and cook delicious food. Available on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. For 6-12 year olds.

• August 18: Make A Mess showing how to make edible mud. Check out our YouTube channel for the video. For 6-12 year olds.

• August 10: STEM Stories on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Learn more about clouds with stories and STEM activity.

• Collection of book bag subscriptions. A box of books for preselected young adults will be available to registered participants.

The library is open on the second floor from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Enter from the elevator side of the building.
