Chelsea vs Leeds LIVE: TV channel, team news and Stamford Bridge score as game IN PROGRESS

CHELSEA takes on Leeds United at Stamford Bridge as the Blues look to keep in touch with Manchester City and Liverpool at the top.

Thomas Tuchel’s side suffered the loss to West Ham last weekend before playing a difficult draw against Zenit St Petersburg in Russia.

And they missed out on first place in their Champions League group after a superb late equalizer from Zenit.

Now Chelsea need to dust themselves off and look to secure three points against a struggling Leeds side, who hope to avoid relegation this season.

  • CHELSEA 0-0 LEEDS

16, better from Leeds. James tries to make room for a shot at the edge of the 18-yard zone but instead feeds Harrison.

Harrison managed the shot, but he was deflected for a corner.

  • CHELSEA 0-0 LEEDS

On the 12th, Reece James had a big impact on this game very early on.

He has to play at the back, but it seems very central.

A little more Leeds in the final minutes also after the first Chelsea storm.

  • CHELSEA 0-0 LEEDS

8, James’s really cheeky effort to try and catch Meslier out of his line… but it’s just wide.

The Leeds goalkeeper was stepping back for a moment and relieved to see him land off target.

    All of Chelsea so far.

  • CHELSEA 0-0 LEEDS

6, Early chance for the Blues … but Mount hits the goalkeeper directly.

Good 1-2 with Reece James and the center Mount’s effort went right into the middle of the goal.

  • CHELSEA 0-0 LEEDS

2, brilliant start from Chelsea with Havertz and Werner closing at the top of the pitch.

Chelsea win the ball and Werner attack the penalty area – but his cross is easy for the goalkeeper to claim.

  • PEEEEEEEEEPPP

And let’s go to Stamford Bridge!

  • WE HAVE TEAMS

The teams are on the ground at Stamford Bridge.

It is cold and very dark in West London.

I’m sure the heat between these two teams will warm everyone up!

  • CHANCES

  • REGULAR LUMINAIRE

It doesn’t get any easier for Leeds after this trip to Stamford Bridge.

Their next three games will be at Man City midweek, Arsenal on Saturday and Liverpool on Boxing Day.

They better take it slow on Christmas and the turkey.

  • LEED FORM

Leeds enters today in 15e place in the Premier League standings.

They have only three wins so far this season but, for now, are not in immediate danger with a six-point cushion in the relegation zone.

The Elland Road side have drawn three of their last five games and seven in aggregate this season.

Turn a few of them into wins and they will feel a lot better in life.

  • ON THE HORIZON

I mentioned the thick and fast upcoming games. We have another midweek bill coming up this week and a Carabao Cup quarterfinal on the horizon as well.

Chelsea’s next five in the Premier League are Everton, Wolves, Aston Villa, Brighton and then a fairly important game against Liverpool in the New Year.

  • SHAPE OF BLUES

It has started to get a lot more difficult for Chelsea in recent weeks.

They started the season like a house on fire and have been the best for most of the campaign so far.

But home draws with Burnley and Man Utd followed by a loss at West Ham last week saw Thomas Tuchel’s men drop to third place.

It’s a busy time and Tuchel needs to get the ship back on track with the matches coming quickly.
