Lego games division announced isometric adventure The Lego Builder’s Journey will arrive on Xbox consoles this Thursday, November 25.
The game originally launched for Apple Arcade in 2019. It then arrived on PC and Nintendo Switch earlier this summer. He sees you playing as father and son on an inspiring journey. However, this story is told entirely through isometric puzzle scenes, in a way that isn’t too different from the mobile hit. Monument valley.
Of course, the big difference is that these scenes are made up entirely of Lego blocks. You’ll use these blocks in what’s described as “free-form puzzle solving” to tackle the levels the way you want. It is perhaps also one of the more striking Lego games, with graphical improvements like ray tracing.
Expect a very relaxed experience, with “meditative gameplay filled with geometric puzzles” according to the blurb. The Lego itself also looks impressively real. You can check out a trailer for the game from its original launch below.
The Lego Builder’s Journey lands on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One on November 25, 2021. There will also be a 20% introductory discount for the first week or so after release.
