After landing an 8/1 long shot in the Premier League on Saturday, SlipsTips take a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Everton’s meeting with West Ham on Sunday.
Everton vs West Ham (Sunday, 2:00 p.m.)
Everton and West Ham will look to find their way back to victory when they see their horns at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
I wrote a separate match preview on this Merseyside reunion before but have since identified another Bet Builder who is appealing.
Diving into the Sky Bet Request a Bet market, it was the 4/5s available on each team to reach more than 3 coins and each team to receive more than 10 reservation points that caught my eye.
Rapidly improving Everton have been standard-frequency corner takers this quarter, averaging 4.43 per game, a tally that drops to 5.33 at home.
West Ham, on the other hand, have so far been a strong performer in corners, with their 6.29 flag kick per 90 minutes on average, being passed only by Premier League titans Liverpool, Man. City and Man United.
Considering Everton’s flawless home form so far coupled with the Hammers’ generally high approach, I will happily support each team to hit three corners each on Sunday.
I will top up the bet with each side to receive more than 10 reservation points in what should be an uphill battle between two very close teams.
Stuart Attwell is overseeing this contest and is traditionally one of the happiest card operators, awarding both teams a minimum of 10 reservation points in 23 of his last 28 league outings.
What’s more, these two teams have averaged more than one card per game this quarter, not to mention ten of the pair’s 14 team games in the Premier League this season have seen both teams collect at least one caution.
It’s also worth noting that the aforementioned combination clicked in five of the Toffees’ seven top-level struggles this quarter and that only adds to the appeal of backing the same formula on Sunday.
- Each team 3+ Corners
- Each team 10+ booking points
- Request a bet – 4/5 (SkyBet)
